Peninsula Power will have a David and Goliath battle in their first ever Westfield FFA Cup Round 32 match taking on one of the biggest clubs in Australia Melbourne City.

With Tim Cahill and a host of superstars in the Melbourne City side, the Power will be looking for a big home crowd to get behind them and cause one of the biggest upsets in the competition.

It will the first time Peninsula Power and an A League side have played at Dolphin Stadium on the Redcliffe Peninsula and will be a huge night for the region. "There is a great buzz around the city and we are going to really give it a go" said Power Captain Trent McEvoy.

Melbourne City will enter the 2017 Westfield FFA Cup as defending Champions, having lifted its first-ever senior men's trophy with a 1-0 win over Sydney FC.
