Brissy-based indie quartet Shag Rock are kicking off their shoes and taking to the road this March for an epic 13-date tour around the east coast.
The tour is in support of their debut record, Barefoot, and will see the rockers shuttle from shows in Byron Bay and Brisbane to Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Mildura, Gold Coast and more.
The band's Alex Wilson says, "Blood sweat and beers were poured into this album and we couldn’t be happier with the end product. With 11 songs, we feel like we’ve finally zoned into a coherent band sound that translates through the album. It was designed to bring some tasty flavours and encapsulate the chilled surf rock vibe."
The band are also keen to premiere another single from the record with us today — behold the clip for Roadtrip, where the bands chill all around our amazing landscapes with a beer in hand, a tatty red couch and some guitars.
The Music are proud to present Shag Rock's upcoming tour; get onto Barefoot when it's released 10 February.
