Aussie rock legends Icehouse have been forced to postpone tonight’s show in Perth with a member of the band currently in hospital for tests and observation after a medical emergency yesterday.
The news follows the postponement of last night’s show – also at Crown Theatre – and while today’s statement didn’t identify which member or what exactly happened, it did confirm it wasn’t frontman Iva Davies that had been taken to hospital.
“Icehouse sends apologies to the fans who missed out on the shows this week for their disappointment and for any inconvenience caused,” the statement read.
The rescheduled WA dates will happen in June – all the info of which you can find in theGuide – with Icehouse’s Adelaide show next Thursday going ahead as planned.
Existing tickets are automatically valid for the new dates, with those no longer able to attend the June shows able to obtain a refund via Ticketmater.
Note: This story originally stated the shows had been cancelled, it has since been updated to reflect the fact they were postponed
