Record Store Day will be back in 2021, but there will a few added twists for the upcoming events.
Due to the ongoing COVID restrictions globally, Australia's Record Store Day will take place across two days - 12 June and 17 July - in what is being coined as Record Store Day Lite.
On 12 June, vinyl lovers can expect live music, discounts and deals at their favourite record store, while 17 July will be more about showcasing the limited edition releases and presented as more of a "chilled day".
On both dates, online sales of limited edition records will be allowed only from 6pm.
Due to the lockdowns last year, Record Store Day was forced to postpone its 2020 festivities and instead went ahead as three events in August, September and October.
