Australian comedy favourite Hannah Gadsby will return to stages across the country from July for a brand new stand-up tour.
The new show from the Emmy and Peabody-winning comedian, Body Of Work, will visit “all sorts of places across Australia”, kicking off in Canberra in late July before visiting Albury, Newcastle, Hobart, Launceston, Darwin, Bendigo, Albany, Bunbury, Mandurah, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane.
“I’m not traditionally an excitable person but...yep... I’m back on a real live stage. It’s nice,” Gadsby said via Facebook.
While nothing has been confirmed for Sydney yet, Gadsby noted: “Sydney...obviously I'll also be coming your way. Stay tuned for extra special news just for you.”
Body Of Work follows on from Gadsby’s acclaimed stand-up show Douglas, which hit Netflix last May after it picked up the Best Comedy Performer award at the 2019 Helpmanns.
Earlier this year, Gadsby performed a special one-off show at iconic Melbourne venue, Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
