
Celebrating some of the best music and artists WA had to offer last year, organisers behind the WAMAwards have unveiled the 2020 nominations list alongside details of the ceremony this March.
For the third year in a row, singer-songwriter Carla Geneve leads the nominees, featuring across six categories (Best Single, Best Guitarist, Best Music Video, Best Rock Act, Most Popular Act and Most Popular Live Act), while Grace Barbé, Spacey Jane, Grievous Bodily Calm, Noah Dillon, Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks and Supathick all claim five each.
Vying for the coveted 2020 Golden WAMI award is Tenille Elkins, Hayley Ayres, Mark Neal, Will Backler and Kylie Thompson, all of whom are said to “lead and inspire in their respective fields”.
The winners across 30 categories will be unveiled at the WAMAwards Party on March 23 at His Majesty’s Theatre.
