UK comic Russell Howard has been "approved" to enter Australia this month for his Respite world tour.
Promoters Live Nation confirmed today that the comedian has been granted entry into the country to complete the tour which was originally scheduled for 2020, making Howard the "first stand-up comedian from the Northern Hemisphere to perform in New Zealand and Australia since the global lockdown".
Due to COVID restrictions, the original Sydney show has been split into two performances. Live Nation advise that "those required to move from this show to 4 March will be reissued new tickets via email by 26 Feb 2021. All other existing tickets remain valid for the rescheduled shows without the need for exchange".
A new Sydney show has also been added to the run, which kicks off in Adelaide on 28 February.
