After unveiling a stacked line-up last month for its launch, the team behind new Sydney pop-up venue Sunset Piazza have announced another slew of big-name music and comedy acts will grace its stage in the coming weeks.
Headliners Ben Folds, Kate Miller-Heidke, Josh Pyke, Wil Anderson and more have been confirmed to perform at the venue, which is located at Cathedral Square opposite Hyde Park and is an initiative from the NSW Government and City of Sydney, running through to March 21.
The second artist announcement features:
Ben Folds, Kate Miller-Heidke, Josh Pyke, Eddie Perfect, G Flip, Pnau (DJ Set), Ziggy Ramo, Casey Donovan, Winston Surfshirt, Ruby Fields and Pete Murray, a comedy gala with Wil Anderson, Sam Taunton, Danielle Walker, Oliver Twist, Alex Jae and MC Justin Hamilton, and an appearance from Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir feat. Trevor Ashley.
When the venue was announced last month, Lord Mayor Clover Moore said: “Together with the NSW Government, we have committed $20 million towards an al fresco city this summer and beyond.
“Sunset Piazza will give residents, workers and visitors a safe way to return to the city and enjoy live music and performance.
"This will enliven our city centre in a COVID-safe way and support artists and local businesses especially impacted by COVID-19.”
