Following a huge debut last year, Anthems music festival will return in 2020 with a star-studded local line-up.

The next instalment of the event will take place at Canberra’s Commonwealth Park on March 28, headlined by Australian music legends Icehouse.

“It’s been a while since we played in Canberra and the band and I are excited to be headlining the Anthems Festival in 2020 and bringing the show to our fans in the ACT,” frontman Iva Davies said.

The Temper Trap have also been confirmed for the festival, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their beloved album Conditions by performing it in full.

They’ll be joined by Eskimo Joe, The Rogue Traders (featuring vocalist Natalie Bassingthwaighte), Frente and Mark Wilkinson.

“Unbreakable Touring has recently taken over the Anthems brand and are thrilled to bring these iconic Australian legends to the people of Canberra on one main stage,” Unbreakable Touring director Kristie Spillane said.

“We look forward to building this festival for years to come and ensure we offer the ultimate experience to our patrons."
