Aussie legends Cold Chisel are expected to crack the top three on this week’s ARIA Albums chart with their latest record, Blood Moon.
If the band’s ninth LP, which will see them embark on a huge national tour next year, hits the top spot, it’ll be their fourth studio album to do so in Australia.
On the new album, The Music reviewer Tim Kroenert noted: “These old rock dogs haven’t got any new tricks, but they are far from ready to roll over and play dead.”
The only other album expected to debut in the top 10 is the second LP from American-Cuban singer-songwriter Camila Cabello, Romance, while Kylie Minogue's latest live recording, Golden, looks to enter in the top 20 ahead of The Chainsmokers’ World War Joy (top 30) and Liam Payne’s LP1 (top 40).
Over on the Singles chart, Harry Styles’ Adore You is expected to debut in the top 15, surrounded by a slew of Christmas hits, including Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, which will likely re-enter the top 10, while Billie Eilish, Lewis Capaldi and Lil Nas X also move their up the chart.
