2019 might be quickly approaching a close, but Aussie artists still have plenty of new music on offer, as evident via triple j's latest additions.
The youth broadcaster has picked up Georgia Maq's surprise debut solo album, Pleaser, as its Feature Album; a release that we named our Album Of The Week last Friday.
Speaking with The Music around the album's release, Maq noted: "Because the album is so different to anything I've ever shown anyone, I wanted it to be a surprise. When in doubt, freak 'em out."
Triple J has also added Coda Conduct's Kinder collab, Lying To Myself, alongside other Aussie tracks, including Golden Features & The Presets' Raka, Milan Ring's Say To Me, RedHook's Fake, and international tunes from Dave (Paper Cuts), Grimes (My Name Is Dark), Love Fame Tragedy (Body Parts) and The Weeknd (Blinding Lights/Heartless).
Over on the Spot Additions playlist, triple j Unearthed talent Nancie Schipper leads the charge with Take Out The Trash, with Asta's Want You To Know, The Kid LAROI's Let Her Go and Pinkish Blu's Coupon also showcasing some of the best local music on offer. Rounding out this week's triple j adds is US singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams with Stay.
