That's one way to make your US TV debut.

Tones & I made her first appearance on American TV screens count with a stellar performance of her global hit Dance Monkey on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week, which saw the Byron Bay-based artist receive a standing ovation from the studio audience.

Even Fallon seemed rapt, rushing over to shake Tones' hand after the performance.

"Yes! Come on," Fallon said.

"US debut buddy, that's the way to do it! Thank you very much."

The US debut comes just days after Tones & I broke the record for the longest streak in ARIA chart history with Dance Monkey, which has charted at #1 for 16 straight weeks.

“Thank you so much Australia for the love and support around my career and single Dance Monkey,” Tones & I told The Music this past weekend.

“It’s been a crazy ride watching what this song has done, but now to break the Aussie record is just a huge achievement. An Aussie now holds the ARIA chart record – thanks!”

Tones & I will return home this weekend to  perform at the Spilt Milk festivals in Canberra and Ballarat. For more details, check out theGuide.

Tones & I also appeared as a guest on The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast backstage at Splendour In The Grass earlier this year; listen to the full episode below.
