April is shaping up to be HUGE for fans of live music, with Bluesfest today unveiling five additional tours to coincide with its massive 2020 event.
Leading the latest announcement and playing headline shows all across the country is Dweezil Zappa, son of influential music mastermind Frank Zappa, who will visit the country on his Hot Rats tour, celebrating 50 years since the iconic LP’s release.
Also commemorating a 50-year milestone, The Allman Betts Band will pay tribute to The Allman Brothers Band across headline dates in Sydney and Melbourne, while soul, jazz and gospel music maestros Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Sydney-born artist Tal Wilkenfeld and Afro-pop favourites Amadou & Mariam also confirm dates around their appearance at the festival in April.
Bluesfest 2020 will take place in beautiful Byron Bay from 9-13 April, with festival tickets available now.
