Following a single release last week, Sydney metalcore outfit Polaris have announced their second LP and a run of 2020 headline dates in support.

The Death Of Me will drop on February 21 via Resist Records, with a huge tour commencing the same day.

“We wanted to walk a line between maintaining what’s defined our band and brought people to our music in the first place, while trying to write for ourselves and keep ourselves interested,” drummer and songwriter Daniel Furnari said.

“Being our second full-length, we knew it was important for us to surprise the listener as well - nobody wants to hear the same record twice. We wanted to give them things they wouldn’t expect, take them to new places, but also for it to be definitively a Polaris record, building on what we’ve been working towards.”

The Death Of Me is the highly anticipated follow-up to The Mortal Coil, which debuted in the ARIA Albums chart top 10 and saw them embark on extensive international touring.

Polaris’ album tour will see support from Wage War, Crystal Lake and Alpha Wolf. Check out theGuide for all the details.
