King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have today announced they'll be performing breezy three-hour sets in two of America's most iconic venues next year.

The Melbourne outfit confirmed the "career defining shows" will take place at LA's Greek Theatre on 18 April, followed by Red Rocks in Colorado on 6 May.

"Both performances will feature a 3 hour marathon set of music spanning each of their 15 albums," a post on the band's Facebook page reads.

The Greek Theatre has previously hosted gigs for huge names like Adele, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Nicks and Dolly Parton, as well as Aussie heavyweights, Midnight Oil and 5 Seconds Of Summer.

Meanwhile, King Gizzard will join a string of Aussie acts who have performed at Red Rocks in recent times including Flume, Alison Wonderland and Tash Sultana.

King Gizzard will next perform in Australia in support of the 2020 Laneway Festival. For more details, click on theGuide.
