Good Things Festival is giving three emerging bands the opportunity to join the 2019 line-up through a new competition.

Following a voting-based stage, four bands from each stop on the Good Things run (Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane) will play a live showcase in front of industry experts with one act then selected to open the festival in their city.

This year's line-up features a stack of local and international heavyweights, including Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, Simple Plan, Bad Religion, Simple Creatures and The Veronicas.

Parkway Drive guitarist Luke Kilpatrick joined The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast shortly after the 2019 line-up was revealed in August to talk about the December events; check it out below.
