RACKETT, real name Rebecca Callander, has today dropped her latest single, dubbed Machinations.

"[Machinations] means to create a sense of delusion, a scheme," Callander shared.

"The chorus, 'Out of my mind, imaginations got me out running wild, remember that time I fell out of my mind, into machinations', summarises a feeling of grand delusion. I lost my mind, devising a plot to move forward."

The single also represents a change in style for RACKETT.

“RACKETT has always been evolving," she continued. "Amidst the moving parts, one thing has always been consistent, my love of music and my desire to connect with others.

"It’s taken a lot of resistance to stay off stage and commit to redefining RACKETT and I’m so pumped to finally share this."

To celebrate the release of Machinations, RACKETT will be head to The Chippo in Sydney and Pride Of Our Footscray in Melbourne for two launch shows in November.
