The much-loved Cold Chisel have today shared more details about their forthcoming studio album, as well as announcing an additional show for their upcoming tour.
After teasing fans earlier this month, the group have now revealed that the album will be dubbed Blood Moon and definitely be out by Christmas.
Additionally, the band have also shared that they'll be releasing the album's first single, Getting The Band Back Together on 31 October.
"The album covers a lot of ground lyrically and musically," shared songwriter Don Walker.
"Getting The Band Back Together seemed like the right sentiment to accompany the tour, but the album itself has a lot of songs that are darker than that, and a few quieter ones too. It’s great to still be making new music and finding new ways to do it after all these years."
Cold Chisel have also announced an additional Day On The Green show for their upcoming Blood Moon Tour.
They'll be hitting up Sirromet Wines in Mount Cotton on Sunday 9 February, with Birds Of Tokyo and Magic Dirt as support.
Tickets for the show go on sale from 11am today, head to theGuide for all the info.
