Megahit Dance Monkey is breaking all kinds of Aussie records and dominating charts across the globe, and now fans can get a more intimate look at the Tones & I track via a stripped-back version.
The stunning new video features the Bryon Bay-based artist behind a grand piano, with the song’s catchy melodies taking centre stage.
Having spent 11 straight weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles chart with Dance Monkey, Tones & I now holds the record for most weeks at #1 on the chart by a female solo act, surpassing Whitney Houston and Sandi Thom, who both spent 10 weeks at #1.
On top of that, the local artist, who cleaned up at the 2019 ARIA Awards nominations, has also hit #1 Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, while topping Spotify’s Global chart and entering the Billboard chart at #96 this past week.
Tones & I’s summer schedule is packed, with the Aussie artist set to perform at festivals across the country as well as embarking on European and US tours.
