A slew of industry heavyweights have been announced as part of Australian Music Week’s second announcement.

The annual event will return to Cronulla Beach from November 6-10, with today’s speakers announcement being led by Michael Chugg (Chugg Entertainment), Roger Field (Live Nation), Jaddan Comerford (Unified Music Group),  Sahara Herald (Frontier Touring), Tim Worton (ASM Global, previously AEG) and Owen Orford (New World Artists), all of whom will take part in a panel on the Australian music industry.

The panel will be moderated by previously-announced keynote guest Bob Lefsetz, with the renowned podcaster also taking part in one-on-one talks with Michael Gudinski (Mushroom Group), John Watson (Eleven Music) and Peter Garrett (Midnight Oil), while fellow podcaster Jeremy Dylan of My Favourite Album interviews The Jezabels’ Hayley Mary live during the conference.

Other speakers announced today include Susan Heymann (Chugg Entertainment), Justin Cosby (Inertia Music), Rod Yates (The Right Note/Journalist), Bernard Zuel (The Right Note/Bernard Zuel), Howard Duggan (Scenestr), Rhoda Roberts (Sydney Opera House), Dom Alessio (Sounds Australia), Neal Hunt (Sureshaker) and more as a number of other panels are revealed.

With an already star-studded artist showcase line-up confirmed, a stack of new acts have been added to next month’s event, including Leah Senior, Nathan Seeckts, Skyscraper Stan, Electrik Lemonade, Ange, Adam Miller and more.
