On the back of a massive six ARIA Award nominations, Aussie songwriter Julia Jacklin has announced a headline tour of the country for next year.

The Sydney artist will kick off the run in her hometown next March, followed by stops in Perth and Adelaide, as well as at Melbourne's newly-announced 2020 Zoo Twilights series in February. Jacklin is also scheduled to perform at the Fairgrounds, Meredith and Festival Of The Sun events in December.

The tour announce coincides with the release of Jacklin's new video, Don't Know How To Keep Loving You; check it out below.

"The video was filmed in the upstairs function room of a Turkish restaurant called Alasya, on Melbourne's Sydney Road," Jacklin said of the clip.

"I was initially drawn to the wood panelling and red carpet. Everyone in the clip is a friend from Melbourne except Harry, who was visiting from Sydney, and also plays bass in my band. He’s also featured in three of my other clips.

"The idea for this video was hard, however I knew it had to be kept simple, with the song doing all the work. I love that it was one shot for that reason."

Tickets for the March shows, which will be supported by WA favourite Carla Geneve and US songwriter Kevin Morby (Sydney only), go on sale from 10am on Wednesday 23 October.
