Imagine Perth 40 years ago... now imagine Saturday afternoons with the sounds of reggae blasting through a radio at a time when classical music and radio play’s reigned supreme. That sound was Vershun Galore; the pre-cursor name of the show now known as Jamdown Vershun.

Founded by Tim Walker and General Justice the program on RTFM, known then as 6UVS was something completely different and brought contemporary Jamacian and African music to the airwaves that had never heard such sounds before.

Now, 40 years later, Perth has changed but Jamdown Vershun continues and General Justice is still bringing you the best in Jamacian and African music every Saturday afternoon, air horns and all.

Bringing you the best in reggae, dancehall, ridims, afro beat, ska, two tone and all the music that lies between every Saturday afternoon on your radio.
