You’ll be able to find “joy, escape, relief” in Adelaide’s inaugural November Nights event.

The two-night festival at Woodville Town Hall, which is owned and operated by City of Charles Sturt, will feature a star-studded local line-up that includes headliners Mojo Juju, Ella Hooper and more.

Woodville Town Hall venue coordinator Deanna Howland told The Music punters can expect an “absolutely incredible weekend”.

“On Friday night think cabaret tables, cheese platters, and late-night soul vibes,” she said.

“Across the weekend you’ll be up close and personal with powerhouse artists like Mojo Juju, Ella Hooper and Thando and immersed in their incredible music and storytelling.

“These are some of the best contemporary Australian artists and they will blow you away with their exceptional music – sure to move you in every way. It’s a chance to get a group of friends together and make a night of it.”

Woodville Town Hall wanted to present quality original live music, which Abby Edwards from Onya Soapbox definitely achieved when curating the line-up.

“We were committed to presenting diversity on stage and including local artists in our line-up. We’ve achieved all of this together and we’re really excited about this line-up,” Howland said.

November Nights will continue the venue’s first year of events.

“Music is an integral part of most people’s lives - more people attend live music than sport in Australia. Everyone will have their own reasons – joy, escape, relief,” Howland said.

“Personally I find live music creates a space for personal reflection and puts life into perspective.

“A mini-festival like this can contribute to economic development, city vibrancy, community connection and wellbeing and allows people to experience bands they might not have known about otherwise with better value for money.”

Mojo Juju, Ella Hooper and Alana Jagt will perform on November 8, while Thando, Caiti Baker, Karen Lee Andrews and Jay Power perform the following night.

The Friday night festivities will feature a cabaret seating layout, while Saturday will have an open dancefloor.
