You’ll be hearing a stack of Hermitude on triple j this week, with the Aussie duo claiming the youth broadcaster’s Feature Album with their latest offering, Pollyanarchy.
The new record, which features fan favourite OneFourThree, is out this Friday before Hermitude embark on a headline tour in November.
The Music reviewer James d’Apice noted of the new release: “Pollyanarchy delivers on precisely what we expect from Hermitude and is all the more noteworthy – and dramatic – for it.”
You’ll also be hearing the latest album from Charli XCX, Charli, which is perfect timing given the UK artist was announced on the Laneway 2020 line-up last week.
Fellow Laneway act KUČKA has been added to rotation, with Drowning making the cut following her signing to Native Tongue last week, while Kwame’s Stop Knockin' @ My Door!, Lime Cordiale’s Robbery and Thornhill’s Nurture round out this week’s local additions, and Bakar’s Hell N Back, FKA twigs’ holy terrain, girl in red’s Bad Idea! and Sofi Tukker’s Purple Hat are also added.
Meanwhile, the Spot Additions playlist hosts a handful of local favourites, with Death By Denim’s Wiggy, Didirri’s Blue Mood Rising and Dom Dolla’s San Frandisco are added alongside Mahalia’s What You Did and Overcoats’ The Fool.
