ABBA's Bjorn Ulvaeus has revealed plans are underway to bring the famous Mamma Mia-themed theatre restaurant to Australia.
As noted by Herald Sun, the Swedish legend appeared on The Graham Norton Podcast while promoting the restaurant's opening at the O2 Arena in London, which has run in Stockholm for almost four years.
On plans to take the restaurant around the world, including Australia. Ulvaeus said, “The first stop I think will be Las Vegas and then after that probably New York or Hamburg.
"Then there's Melbourne, Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul.”
The venue is set up as a Greek Taverna which Ulvaeus describes as "a spin-off within the Mamma Mia! world", where punters enjoy a four-course meal while watching the show.
It comes after news that new ABBA music, the legendary group's first releases in almost 30 years, have been pushed back until next year.
