Ruel has revealed there is a collab track with US superstar Khalid sitting around that is currently unfinished.
In a new interview with The Music, the 16-year-old Sydney artist said the two musicians hit the studio together when Ruel supported Khalid's 2017 tour of Australia.
"It's pretty cool," Ruel said.
"I don't know if it'll ever see the light of day. It's not finished yet – like, it's only, I reckon, a verse – but I wanna get back in the studio with him and write something even better.
"We can beat it. But it's still cool."

Ruel will kick off a tour of Australia this week to celebrate the release of his new EP, Free Time. Meanwhile, Khalid will return to the country in November to headline the 2019 Spilt Milk festivals. For more details, click on theGuide.
