Entering its 15th year, Emerge In Yarra has unveiled a “multilayered” 2019 program that explores “new futures and new terrain”.

Returning to multiple venues from 18-19 October, the festival will once again showcase artistic and cultural diversity.

Over at Schoolhouse Studios, Melbourne writer, curator and artist Andy Butler has curated a series of conversations events under the banner On Power, while Melba Spiegeltent will host two live events, including an album preview party for Yeo and an “audio-visual feast” of upcoming hip hop and soul artists via the VIBE! showcase.

Acts confirmed to perform during VIBE! include Pookie, Good Luck Omen and Heard Instinct Collective.

Head to the Multicultural Arts Victoria website for the full program and ticketing info.
