All-female music festival Space Girls has unveiled its 2019 line-up, led by indie rock favourite Jaguar Jonze and more.

The brainchild of Australian fashion designer Cindy Vogels, who has previously worked with Lady Gaga, the Queensland event’s Satellite Party will return take place at Gympie Civic Centre on September 13 with the following acts in tow:

Jaguar Jonze, Ella Fence, Doolie, Dameeeela (guest DJ), Andrea Kirwin, Elska, The Dennis Sisters

Double J’s Sarah Howells has also been announced as the 2019 Space Girls MC.

“We’ve seen awesome conversation and initiatives addressing the underrepresentation of women recently and are starting to see some real change. But there is still much work to be done,” Vogels said.

“The line-up we've programmed is a celebration of women in music from an exciting range of genres with diverse backgrounds too.

“You can’t be what you can’t see, and we are so excited to do our part in transforming the conversation into one galactic realisation that women have a well-earned space in the spotlight!"

Vogels and co-founder Jazmyn Bowman want to build a sustainable, full-scale outdoor festival that will become “a must-see on the Australian festival calendar”.
