Looks Like Sampa The Great Just Became Jada Pinkett Smith's New Fave Artist

Australian singer-songwriter and rapper Sampa The Great, aka Sampa Tembo, is busy blowing up with blistering new tracks OMG and Final Form and in the process has attracted the attention of a very famous fan. 

Jada Pinkett Smith shared two screenshots of Tembo's tracks Female and Blak Girl Magic overnight, writing on Twitter that she had found her "new fav artist". 

Tembo shared the love right back, tweeting that she was "soo honoured".

"My faves fave," Tembo wrote in a subsequent Tweet. 

"The year I’ve been experiencing! Just, there’s a spiritual shift happening."

Sampa The Great is due to release her debut album, The Return, this September. She will hit the road to celebrate in October with shows throughout the country.
