Aussie favourite Angie McMahon is on track to hit #1 on this week's ARIA Albums chart with her debut LP, Salt.
According to midweek figures, the Melbourne songwriter's record is expected to debut in the top three and will likely fight it out with Ed Sheeran's No.6 Collaborations Project (which has held top spot for the last two weeks) and US rapper NF's The Search which is also in the running for a top three debut.
Other album debuts this week include Thy Art Is Murder's Human Target, Chance The Rapper's The Big Day (both top ten) and Of Monsters & Men's Fever Dream (top 20).
Over on the Singles chart, Byron Bay-based artist Tones & I could cap off a huge six months if she can reach #1 with her hit track Dance Monkey which landed at #3 last week.
Midweek figures indicate the song will challenge for the #1 or #2 spot, against Lil Nas X' Old Town Road (which made US chart history this week by breaking the record for most weeks at #1 on the Top 200 list) and Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello's Senorita, which ended Old Town Road's 13 week streak here in Australia last week.
Expect to see three new entries on the Singles chart this week, including Taylor Swift's The Archer (top 15), The Chainsmokers and Illenium's Takeaway featuring Lennon Stella and NF's Time (both top 50).
