Things are sounding very good for Aussie music this week with 12 of 14 available new spots going to local acts on triple j this week.
Adrian Eagle's Housing Trust, Matt Corby & Tash Sultana's Talk It Out, Alice Ivy's In My Mind (feat. Ecca Vandal), Jess Day's Rabbit Hole, Remi's 5am (feat. Whosane), TOTTY's Lucky and Wave Racer's Summer Rain (feat. Kwame) have all been added to regular rotation.
Talk It Out is the first collaboration from multi-instrumentalists Corby and Sultana. "We originally started having a jam in early 2017, then life came between making music together," says Sultana.
"This track came about because Matt didn't include it on Rainbow Valley. He sent it to me to fill in the blanks, and it's the first collaboration I've done with another artist that I’ve released."
Dallas Woods' Get By, CLEWS' Hollywood, Motez's Toggle, RedHook's Only Bones and Perto's track Bad Maybe Good with Nigerian artist Kah-Lo have all been given spot plays.
US artist Banks has picked up the Feature Album spot with her latest III, while Los Angeles' Delacey has been added for The Subway Song.
