Emerging Aussie artist Tones & I is quickly making a name for herself both locally and abroad and this week's ARIA chart movements are yet further proof of that.

The Byron Bay-based songwriter currently has two tracks placed in the top 20 of the Singles chart - Johnny Run Away (placed last week at #16) and Dance Monkey (placed last week at #17) - making her the first local act to have two songs in the top 20 since Dean Lewis in April (7 Minutes at #10 and Be Alright at #17).

Midweek predictions suggest Tones & I's Dance Monkey is on track to crack the top 15 and could even chart in the top 10 by Saturday's results.

It comes after The Music revealed Tones & I inked deals with Paradigm in the US and UK's Free Trade Agency earlier this year.

Meanwhile new entries on the Singles chart this week include Post Malone's Goodbyes featuring Young Thug (top ten), Ed Sheeran's Best Part Of Me featuring Yebba and his collab with Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton, Blow (top 30 and 40) and Jessica Mauboy's Little Things (top 50).

Over on the Albums chart, US rapper J Cole is the favourite to land at #1 with his new EP, Revenge Of The Dreamers III which is at least expected to debut in the top three.

Other album debuts this week include Machine Gun Kelly's Hotel Diablo (top 20),  the Michael Hutchence Mystify soundtrack (top 30) and Jaden's Eyrs (top 40).
