The CHANGES music conference has wrapped for 2019.

This year's event covered a huge variety of topics, looking at everything from the future of streaming to why accessible needs to be a priority at live music events to how important well-being is for a sustainable career in music. Check out our favourite moments from the conference below.

What does the future of Australia hip hop look like?

It's a huge question and one that artists MzRizk and N'Fa Jones, Valve Sounds/Vita Music Group's Shelley Liu, The Operatives' Jerry Poon, Victoria Music Development Office's Neil Morris (who also performs as DRMNGNOW) and moderator Syrene Favero attempted to answer. The thing the panel could all settle on though is that to figure out what the future of hip hop is, we need to look back at where it came from in the first place.

Should the music industry be spending more time on well-being?

The music industry and wellness joined forces today as part of the True Health Is Your Wealth; Well-being Meets The Music Industry session.

The panel, made up of Maven & Muse's Correne Wilke (manager of The Cat Empire), artist Leah Flanagan, Meditation Australia's Asher Packman and Dr Oscar Serrallach, looked at what impact working in the music industry can have on artists and industry workers and how it can be counteracted. Head here to find out what you need to know about well-being in the music industry.
