Police have charged two men over a fatal shooting incident that took place at a Melbourne nightclub in April.

It is believed six shots were fired at the nightclub, Love Machine, in a drive-by shooting on 14 April at approximately 3.20am. A stolen Porsche fled the scene and was later found burnt on the outer fringes on the city.

Security guard Aaron Khalid Osmani, 27, and nightclub patron Richard Arow, 28, died in hospital from their injuries. Four other patrons sustained injuries.

According to ABC, an 18-year-old was arrested in Southbank earlier today and has been charged with two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder.

The man is expected to face Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.

Over the weekend ABC also reported the arrest of a 25-year-old, who was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, possessing a firearm, stalking, making threats to kill and other offences.

The arrests follow the release of CCTV footage last month of an additional vehicle police believed to be connected to the incident.

Police have said the investigation remains ongoing, and are continuing to urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via their website.
