All the talk around Robert Pattinson right is about him potentially becoming the next Batman but there was a time when the British actor was best known for one character alone - Edward Cullen.

And now, Twilight fans will get the opportunity to revisit the cult classic, but this time with an extra touch.

Taking place at the Sydney Opera House on Sunday 8 September, a screening of Twilight will feature a full live orchestra performing Carter Burwell's original score.

The US composer has written music for over 80 feature films including Being John Malkovich, O Brother, Where Art Thou? and No Country For Old Men and has received two Oscar nominations for Carol (2015) and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017).

Following its release in November 2008, Twilight went on to rack up almost $US400 million at the box office and served as a launching pad for the careers of both Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Tickets for the screening go on sale from Monday 3 June. For more details, click here.
