Spotify has confirmed that award-winning technology industry innovator Karen Lawson will oversee its Australian and New Zealand operations.
Lawson, who transformed Slingshot from a start-up to one of the country’s largest corporate accelerators, will take on the role of Managing Director, which was previously held by Jane Huxley until she moved to London in February to take on a global role with Spotify.
“I am thrilled to be joining Spotify as MD for Australia and New Zealand,” Lawson said.
“It’s wonderful to be part of a business which is so loved by millions of people around the world.”
