Pete Murray To Play 'Benefit For Annie' Charity Event

Pete Murray will play a one-off charity event next month for the Benefit For Annie event. 

The event will be held at the Hamilton Hotel in Brisbane and aims to raise money for cancer patient Annie Stanton, who is the founder of the Walking On Sunshine Foundation which has raised over $350,000 for cancer research in the past 15 years.

Murray, who is a Walking On Sunshine Foundation ambassador, says that Stanton "has a heart of gold".

"Anne is one of the strongest people that I have ever met," he says. "She has been battling cancer for over 25 years and has raised over a quarter of a million dollars for cancer research through her charity Walking On Sunshine. One lady’s determination has gone a long way. I’m proud to be an ambassador of Walking On Sunshine."
