The music industry is rapidly evolving, largely in-part to innovative tech, something that will once again take centre stage at BIGSOUND 2019.

BIGSOUND Tech will return to this year’s conference, with applications now open for entrepreneurs to showcase at the September event.

The program will allow punters to discover some of Australia's best emerging start-ups while offering those behind the tech a chance to network and gain valuable feedback from industry leaders, while also getting training, mentorship and support.

Past mentors have included the likes of Philip Vafladis (chair of business innovator Innovoys), Peta Ellis (River City Labs), Paul Niederer (equity-based crowdfunding expert) and Terry Gold (Techstars incubator MD).

Online platform I Heart Songwriting Club, which “offers a supportive community for songwriters to write songs weekly whilst being held accountable to the writing process”, featured at BIGSOUND 2018 and has since received considering growth.
