Just over two years since its initial opening, Sydney club The Carter has undergone a $1 million makeover.
Inspired by music legends Beyoncé and JAY-Z, as well as the rapper's famous New York club, The 40/40 Lounge, The Carter's three-storey offering has everything from music to food and drinks and everything in between.
Complete with 24 carat-netted hoops and a basement level serving as an exact replica of Beyoncé's Hold Up music video, the O'Connell Street venue will look to continue to be one of the bright spots for Sydney's nightlife in the ongoing battle against lockout laws.
Following a private showing this week, The Carter's full renovations will be on display to the public from tomorrow night with the official reopening.
"Beyoncé's Lemonade and the Carters self-titled album inspired the fit out, which are all about the evolution of the power couple," The Carter Managing Director, Chady Khouzame, told The Music.
"I wanted to completely transform the space with three core themes – heartbreak, independence and love. I wanted to create a virtual tour of Beyoncé & JAY-Z’s relationship and bring people together to celebrate the relaunch of the restaurant, bar & nightclub."
