After yesterday announcing her resignation from the Association Of Artist Managers (AAM), Leanne de Souza has announced that she'll be joining Nightlife Music as a director and advisor to the board.

De Souza will join the family business alongside husband Tim and co-founders Mark and Vicki Brownlee. The company was founded in 1989 by Tim and Mark and specialises in video jukeboxes.

"Leanne will take strategic lead for Nightlife’s local and global market repositioning based on the explosion of screen-based culture world-wide," says Mark of de Souza's appointment.

"We are a music company at heart, but our ongoing research and technology has presented enormous opportunities beyond our core that Leanne’s expertise in arts and culture will help us capitalise on, both here at home and offshore."

De Souza added, "I have been proud to forge a multi-faceted career in the music industry for over 25 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of where those paths have taken me."

"But the time is right now for me and I’m excited to refocus my energy, skills and knowledge to the family business and the next stage of its growth."
