If the cold snap has got you dreaming of mulled wine and shredding gnarly powder bro, rejoice. Jindabyne's Snowtunes festival has revealed it will be returning in 2019.

As the southern hemisphere’s "biggest snow music festival", the event will run across two days in 2019 from Friday 30 August to Saturday 31 August. Last year's edition saw 10,000 patrons attend sets from the likes of Violent Soho, Thundamentals and Tired Lion and this year's fifth birthday celebrations are promising to be another festival to remember.

Organisers have announced 25 huge Australian and international acts will be heading to the Snowy Mountains this August will the full line-up reveal happening early next month.

So for now, save the date, put in your annual leave and we'll see you on the slopes.
