After debuting in Sydney in 2017, Final Fantasy event Distant Worlds will return to Australia later this year for a special one-off show.

The Victorian premiere at Melbourne Arena on August 24 will feature a completely revamped live show, with music from the acclaimed video game, a tribute to Final Fantasy VII, and acclaimed composer Yoko Shimomura in attendance.

The concert will see Gramming-winning conductor Arnie Roth lead the 100-piece Distant World Philharmonic and Chorus through a multimedia experience that features images, stills and iconic scenes from Final Fantasy to stunning live music.

The August event will also be Distant Worlds’ largest show to date.
