The Melbourne Reclink Community Cup is officially returning in 2019 for its 25th year to bring the worlds of music and sport together once again while also raising money for a good cause.

Returning to Collingwood's Victoria Park on 23 June, featuring teams made up of musicians, media personalities and more, the cup "promises another great day of community, fundraising, music, and of course grassroots footy, as the Megahertz (Community Radio Triple R 102.7FM & PBS 106.7FM) take on the Espy Rockdogs (musos)".

“This year’s national theme From Little Things Big Things Grow is based on the song about Vincent Lingiari who stood for Aboriginal rights and their ownership of land," said John Ballis, CEO Reclink Australia.

"Today we also draw an inspirational message of what can be achieved when people stand together for what is right and what is fair. Who could have imagined that from its small beginning in St Kilda, the Community Cup would grow to become a national iconic event?”

The Melbourne event will also feature a music line-up that includes the likes of Magic Dirt, Baker Boy and Harvey Sutherland.

Following on from the clash of the Megahertz and the Espy Rockdogs, the Community Cup will be celebrated across Australia with matches in Brisbane (28 Jul),  Adelaide (4 Aug), Sydney (11 Aug), Hobart (25 Aug), Canberra (8 Sep) and Fremantle (21 Sep).
