Returning for its ninth year, the annual Mullum Music Festival tree planting event will take place next month, with organisers today unveiling the local talent set to perform on the day.
Mullum Music Festival 2018 Youth Mentorship winners Bethany Jolly and Blind Mouth will headline the May 12 event at Teak Tree Farm, joined by indie punk rock outfit Loose Content and Russian choir Dustyesky.
It’s expected that more than 1000 trees will be planted on the day, with the event kicking off at 9am and a BBQ brunch available for a gold coin donation.
Those interested are urged to bring drinking water and wear gloves, long sleeves, long pants and protective shoes, with trees for planting provided.
Head to the Mullum Music Festival website for all the details.
Presented by The Music, Mullum Music Festival will return 14 – 17 November.
