Historic Sydney pub Harold Park Hotel has closed its doors after going into liquidation last week.
Appointed liquidators, Woodgate & Co, have confirmed to The Music that the Forest Lodge venue ceased trading last Tuesday.
The future of Harold Park Hotel, the same venue where Hoodoo Gurus' filmed the music video for their 1984 track, My Girl, is currently unclear however Woodgate & Co has confirmed an interested buyer has already stepped forward, with hopes that the pub will recommence operations sooner rather than later.
Though the closure occurred last week, the venue has yet to publicly address the matter. Signs displayed around the establishment late last week read that it will remain closed "until, at least, next Monday".
In early 2017, the venue was at the centre of controversy after a single noise complaint led to the temporary axing of live music in its courtyard. However after working with the City Of Sydney, live music was reinstated just a few weeks later.
Harold Park Hotel has previously hosted acoustic sets from a number of popular Sydney bands, including Bootleg Rascal, Lepers & Crooks and The Khanz.
The Music has contacted the venue's former owner for comment.
