Australian artists have featured heavily in ARIA's End of Year Vinyl Albums Chart for 2018 with some even scoring two or more records in the top 50 alone.
Melbourne heavyweights King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard posted a whopping four placings in the the top 50 - Oddments at #24, Eyes Like The Sky at #25, Float Along - Fill Your Lungs at #26 and 12 Bar Bruise at #30.
Gang Of Youths scored the highest spot for a local act, with their ARIA Award-winning Go Farther In Lightness charting at #6, while their MTV Unplugged special came in at #20.
Other top 50 placings by local artists included Tame Impala's Currents at #12, Tash Sultana's Flow State at #18, Powderfinger's Internationalist at #19, Skegss' My Own Mess at #23, DMA'S' For Now at #38, Courtney Barnett's Tell Me How You Really Feel at #40, Amy Shark's Love Monster at #41 and Camp Cope's How To Socialise & Make Friends at #43.
Tame Impala also managed to squeeze in a second time to land at #100 with his 2012 second album, Lonerism.
Meanwhile, just as they did in the End Of Year charts, Queen dominated the list to come in at #1 with their 1981 Greatest Hits compilation, beating out the Guardians Of The Galaxy soundtrack at #2 and Nirvana's Nevermind at #3.
