Aussie music publicist Chris Maric has confirmed he will cycle 300 kilometres from London to Download Festival this year in the name of some important children's charities.

After undertaking the hike in 2016 and 2017, Maric will again participate in the Heavy Metal Truants ride between 12-14 June with money raised to go towards Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline.

Maric will join a number of agents, managers, promoters and artists on the ride, with each participant pledging to raise $AU2,500.
