Teen sensation Billie Eilish is blowing up around the world in a massive way, a trend that looks likely to spread to the ARIA charts this week following the release of her debut record When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go?.
In addition to the album looking to debut at #1 or at least land in the top three, the US singer is also set to take over the Singles chart with Bad Guy also pushing for at least a top three debut, while eight more tracks from the LP are expected to debut in the top 50 - All The Good Girls Go To Hell (top ten), Xanny (top ten), My Strange Addiction (top 15), I Love You (top 20), Ilomilio (top 20), Listen Before I Go (top 30), 8, (top 40) and Goodbye (top 50).
Previous hit singles Bury A Friend (top three), Wish You Were Gay (top five), When The Party's Over (top ten) and You Should See Me In A Crown (top 20) are also expected to soar up the ladder. That's 50% of the top 20 dedicated to Eilish - not bad for a debut.
This week also look for album debuts from I Prevail, Devin Townsend, The Black Sorrows and Ben Platt who all look to make top 20. Devin Townsend's new album Empath scored an impressive four and a half stars from The Music with Rod Whitfield saying, "It’s almost like his entire career has been leading up to this moment." Finally, expect to also see Lil Nas X's Old Town Road and Lewis Capaldi's Someone You Loved climb back into the top 30 on the Singles chart too.
