In a last minute announcement, organisers have signed on The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder to appear at both the Melbourne and Gold Coast events and Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown to appear at the Melbourne event, following the cancellation of Riverdale stars Camila Mendes and Jordan Connor.
The news follows the drop of the trailer for season three of Stranger Things. If you haven't already, check it out below.
The Vampire Diaries co-star Nathaniel Buzolic (The Originals) and Steven Strait of The Expanse have also been added to the line-up.
Supanova will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of George Miller’s Mad Max franchise, with appearances from some of the original cast including Steve Bisley (Jim Goose), Hugh Keays-Byrne (Toecutter, Immortan Joe), Paul Johnstone (Cundalini), Vince Gil (Nightrider), and stuntman Dale Bensch all appearing in Melbourne.
The new additions join the previously announced guests including Teen Wolf lead Tyler Posey, co-star Tyler Hoechlin, and Napoleon Dynamite himself, Jon Heder.
The event will also feature homegrown talent Eliza Taylor, who rose to fame as Clarke Griffin on The 100, while Serbian actor Stefan Kapičić (Colossus in Deadpool) and Matt Ryan (Constantine, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow) also are set to attend.
