Female Victorian music managers, listen up, because there's only a month left to apply for the prestigious Lighthouse Award.
Funded by APRA AMCOS, the award grants $5,000 to a female Victorian music manager who "exhibits passion, creativity and integrity" in memory of Linda Gebar.
Jen Cloher, Bonnie Dalton, Bernadette Ryan and Sabrina Robertson are all previous winners.
Reflecting on her win last year, Robertson said, "It's an incredible feeling to have my management work acknowledged this way. For the times I doubted myself and my abilities as a manager, this award is a reminder that there is no set path as managers, and we're making up our own.
"The award money has provided valuable support for international travel, both to the UK for The Great Escape and to South America for SOUNDS AUSTRALIA's trade mission. Additionally, it's helped fund the website hosting of my Victorian music blog Mismatch, and allowed me to continue unofficially mentoring emerging managers and artists."
